Welcome to St John's Chapel Primary School. We are a small 2 class primary school with pre-school provision for children aged two and over, located in Upper Weardale in the North Pennines.  

We federated with Hamsterley and Wearhead Schools in September 2023 to become the Durham Dales Federation and work closely with our partner schools to provide an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum for our pupils. Team work, collaborative and outdoor learning are key elements of our federation ethos.
