Welcome to our International Activities page where children will be learning about different countries and cultures and the animals that live there.
Week commencing 23.11.20
Class 1 have taken part in an International Christmas Decoration exchange. We made decorations from salt dough and sent them to 21 schools all over Europe and have received decorations from them. It was exciting to open the packages and find a lovely Christmas decoration from Countries ranging from Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Tenerife, Poland, Romania and Greece. Everyone helped to decorated our tree with these and it looks lovely.
Week commencing 28.09.20
On Tuesday, it was European day, we decided to study Spanish art, we looked at Pablo Picasso and Gaudi in class 2. In class 1 we looked at Joan Miro. We looked at their work and then tried some of our own. We hope you like them!
Week commencing 23.09.19
The whole school took part in international day and learnt about different professions in French. They split into groups and did a presentation about their specific profession. We then all sang a song together once we had learnt about all the different professions.
Week commencing 01.07.19
Class 2 have been learning about Independence Day and the United States of America and today the whole school had a 4th July Lunch! Happy Independence Day!

Mrs Swindale has recently been to Costa Rica, so she visited Class 1 to tell them all about her trip! They talked about the animals that live in Costa Rica and even showed off their best Sloth impressions!
